Wow.
What an epic past couple of days :)
I’m still amazing that I survived without falling flat on my face from exhaustion! lol
This is gonna be a pretty boring read for you since there is nothing insightful really, just a huge update on how I spent the Christmas season :)

the gift of a comma.
Can you believe that Christmas is just 4 days away?
I honestly feel like the whole thing has taken me by surprise… like I knew it was coming but then, BAM, it’s almost on our doorstep! lol
So what gifts are you giving or wishing for? I remember last year I was soooo organised (and richer) that [...]
19 Dec
it wasn’t that bad.
…being home-bound all day that is.
My day consisted of:
- an early morning phone call in bed :)
- personal devo… always a good way to start the day!
- clearing the piano room before Mum’s piano students arrived!
- uploading photos of the past week in sets of five because FB wasn’t being co-operative.
- photo stalking people on FB [...]

progress.
So, I’ve had a full day where my toe and my knee scab have both been unbandaged… the new skin on my big toe is soft, pink and squiggy hehe
Scot was also surprisingly willing to walk for another block without much coaxing this morning which was a welcome change :)
I have also acquired a new [...]

giggles.
I love having a good laugh at myself every once in a while… keeps me grounded, humble and makes me not take myself too seriously at times :)
My ‘blonde’-ish moments always make me laugh… not that I have anything against blondes, I have a few friends who are quite intelligent and have naturally golden locks… [...]

reconciled.
Rain, rain go away
Come again another day…
Large raindrops splattered on the windscreen as we drove back from quite an intense filming session I was doing for my cousins’ church… my cousin had written a play for Christmas and somehow designated me to be the cameraman or camera ‘girl’ which also means I’m gonna have to learn how [...]

emails.
It just dawned on me that I’ve received a lot of ‘out of the ordinary’ emails lately.
I love personal emails (personal as opposed to advertisements etc.)… it’s a way to reach out to those that are dear to you but aren’t physically present for you to speak to, hug or to hold.
In the past, my [...]
13 Dec
do-over.
It’s funny how we may end up going down one path only to realise midway that our original route was the better and safer choice :)
The world seems to make more sense when you have a few good friends to talk things through.
I want to leave the turmoil, confusion, uncertainties and fears behind.
Let’s focus on the journey that [...]

scabs and scars.
The wounds from that fatal bike experiment are healing.
The scabs have formed and are now really itchy and I’m so tempted to just pull them off.
But, as I’ve been told, doing so not only slows down the healing process, it also will result in scars…
Hence, I present a short poem I found here a short [...]

desensitized.
If there’s anything I’ve learnt through the most recent self-evaluative journey I’ve taken, it is that my choice of weapon is often to give the silent treatment when I feel I’ve lost control of the situation. I ignore the issue, withdraw and try to deal with things internally first before coming back to confront my demons [...]
